2024 Stuff The Bus School Supply Drive

This year the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District has announced a new partnership with Communities in Schools of San Antonio for the annual Stuff the Bus School Supply drive.

St. Philip's has always been a part of the school supply drive here in Uvalde and with this new partnership we are able to continue our partnership with the UCISD and expand how you can give to the UCISD supply drive.

Donations can be dropped off at St. Philip's during office hours, Monday - Thursday 9am - 12pm and 1pm- 3pm at 343 North Getty, Uvalde. Or, if you would prefer you can donate online through this portal.

For nearly 30 years, the Communities In Schools of San Antonio Stuff The Bus (STB) School Supply Drive has helped thousands of students and families in need. During the 2024 - 2025 school year, the STB supplies will be distributed to over160 schools in San Antonio and surrounding areas (elementary-high school) across 13 school districts. This allows all students at each campus to have access to free school supplies throughout the school year. Each time you participate in the Stuff The Bus School Supply Drive, you entrust Communities In Schools of San Antonio to direct your gifts to where they are needed most.

Stuff The Bus School Supply Drive is one of city's largest school supply drives that serves thousands of under-served students and families. Many of these families are below the poverty line and cannot afford all the supplies their children need to start their school year. The funds raised through this event will be given to about 160 CIS partnering schools (elementary-high school) across 13 school districts to purchase supplies for any student in need at that campus. Your support helps to alleviate the stress of back-to-school expenses and allows students to focus on their education with the tools they need to be successful.
